The Power Screen can also act as a solar shade to protect your interior furnishings and at the same time help lower energy bills.  The Retractable Power Screen can offer an unobstructed view while reducing the harmful effects of the sun's rays. Power Screens are available in a variety of designer frame colors and screen fabrics, the Power Screen is also offered in custom colors (upon request) to accommodate any home décor.

Additional features and notes:

• Power Screens can be surface mounted or mounted inside the jam on both exterior and interior applications.

To accommodate various width and height requirements, two series are available.

• Series 3000 (3 ¾” housing) can span up to 12’ in width and 14’ in height.
• Series 4000 (4 ¾” housing) can span up to 23’ in width and 16’ in height.
  
  Both series use the same 2 ¼” rail system.

All extruded aluminum components are powder coated providing resistance to the sun’s UV rays and heat. The power screen can be ordered using 80% or 90% solar block fabric in Black, Brown, Desert Sand, White and/or Beige. Other screen options include a white or black polyester screen as well as a total privacy screen.

A self-contained motor is factory installed on either the right or left of the unit. (customers decision based on electrical connection) The motor is compliant with CSA & UL safety codes and works on 120v/60Hz @ 180-240 watts/1.7-2 amps.

UL-rated nylon components are used for the track quides.

Both series offer either a one-channel remote, a five -channel remote or a 24 channel remote.

Field installation of the fabric onto the roller tube is easily accomplished using a Velcro attachment system.
